What is CSCP?
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional CSCP is a short, internationally accredited training course at a higher professional level, for broad employability in supply chain management.
CSCP focuses for 80% on external business clients (customers and supplier relations) and for 20% on the coordination of internal processes.
The target group is professionals who work in the fields of production control and supply chain management.
This course gives you the knowledge to effectively manage supply chain efforts, implement key concepts and strategies, and improve daily operations.
How do you become CSCP Certified?
The APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certificate is obtained by passing one 3.5-hour compact exam. 150 multiple-choice questions.
Structure of the APICS CSCP study
Made up of eight modules that provide knowledge and insight into the techniques and technologies required to efficiently optimise the organisation’s supply chain.
Participants learn how to streamline production and save costs by looking – from a strategic point of view – beyond their own internal operations and into the whole supply chain.
Attention is also paid to topics like globalisation, international trade agreements, IT in the supply chain, logistics, customer relations and sustainability.

Preparing for the CSCP exams
- Bachelor+ level
- Good reading skills in English, (the textbooks and the exams are in English).
- The correct study material for preparation. In this case, the compulsory APICS CSCP Learning System.
- Taking/having enough study time for preparation and homework and having an active, participatory attitude during lessons.
- Taking your exams straight after the course. Then the knowledge you have acquired is still fresh.
